Plu-what? Girlawhirl finds out what a pluot is

As seen in girlawhirl.com

Not to be confused with an aprium or a plumcot, a pluot is 75% plum and 25% apricot, which makes it a sweet and juicy fruit with an intense flavor. And within the pluot family, there are so many varieties that it’s hard to describe what the average one looks like. Skin colors can range from yellow with stripes or speckles, to red or even the dark purple-black of a plum. It turns out that pluots are available in her local grocery store in the winter, but Girlawhirl can’t recall if she’s seen them or not.

But she does know that she can always find the sweet taste of a pluot in a bag of Peeled Snacks Plu-what? Mixed with dried white peaches, plums and cashews in their very own stay fresh pouch, it’s one of her favorite on-the-go – or in-the-air – snacks.

Girlawhirl finds all four varieties of Peeled Snacks in her local health food store, but they’re also available online at peeledsnacks.com.
